I Formed a Party with a Girl via an Adventurer Matching App - Chapter 60

The Very First Thing to Do

We retraced our steps directly down the same castle corridor we had walked through just moments ago. At first, we were only walking at a brisk pace, but the growing urgency in our chests soon drove us into a full sprint.

The moment we stepped out of the open gates of the Demon King’s castle, the sound of commotion met our ears.

It was the Dragon Tamers who had flown us out here. Noticing us emerging from the castle, they rushed toward us with aggressive enthusiasm.

"H-Hey! What’s going on?! It’s way too fast for you guys to be back from a successful raid! Did something unexpected happen?!"

"What happened in there?! Where’s the rest of the crew?!"

"It’s an absolute anomaly out here too! The sky that was just choked with pitch-black clouds has completely cleared up out of nowhere!"

"That’s impossible! What the hell actually went down?!"

"Hey, what the hell happened to the Demon King?!"

"Sorry. We’re in a hurry. Get out of the way."

"Ask the bushy-bearded guys coming out later for the details."

"Huh? Ah—hey! Where are you two going?! Wait! Hey?! Seriously, where the hell are you guys going?!"

Brushing past their desperate demands for an explanation, we left the Demon King's castle behind us.

As the clouds blanketing the sky broke apart, the surrounding area rapidly brightened. Perhaps the monsters were just as bewildered by the sudden shift; despite usually crawling all over the place, they were currently hiding in the shadows, refusing to show themselves.

After putting some distance between ourselves and the castle, Cordelia and I spotted a small cave nestled at the base of a sheer cliff.

"Hey, Cordelia. What about over there? Looks perfect."

"Yeah. It doesn't look like anyone would easily stumble upon us."

Exchanging those brief words, we suppressed our racing hearts and dashed into the cave. A slime-type monster was clinging to the wall inside as if trying to hide, so we lightly swung a weapon and casually took care of it.

"You're in the way, move it. We're passing through."

"Pi-Pigiieeeee... (Dissolves)"

...A single, massive question was swirling inside our heads. Ever since the exact moment we defeated the Demon King, we had been driven by that question, wandering around in search of a place completely hidden from public view.

Our adventurer party suitability rating was 0.02%. We had no idea what had caused it to happen, but that was the brutal number slapped in front of us as our latest matching result.

And yet, in that state... with a number so catastrophically low. With just the two of us holding a mere 0.02% compatibility, we had successfully brought down the Demon King who ruled over the darkness of this world. And we had done it while maintaining an overwhelmingly dominant upper hand throughout the entire fight.

If that was the case, then...

The number we had checked on the matching app flashed vividly in our minds.

Sexual Compatibility: 0.00%

There wasn't even a decimal point. It didn't offer a single, microscopic shred of hope. It was pure, unadulterated void.

From the exact moment we saw that number, Cordelia and I hadn't had sex, utterly terrified to put that 0.00% compatibility to the test.

...But still. If we could defeat the Demon King even with a compatibility rating as abysmal as 0.02%...

Then even if our sexual compatibility was a hopeless 0.00% on paper, a faint, burning desire—a desperate hope of 'what if?'—began to bubble up uncontrollably within us.

"Haah... haah... Cordelia. I don't think I can hold back anymore."

"Don't worry, Kent. Neither can I."

Deep inside the cave, we came to a halt at a spot where the faint light spilling from the entrance was just barely enough to make out each other's faces. Throwing our weapons aside, we stepped forward and locked each other in a fierce, crushing embrace.

"Ah... haah... haah... Cordelia..."

"Kent... mm... Mwah... Nnh..."

Clinging to each other desperately, our movements flowed seamlessly into a deep kiss.

Oh God. This was the Cordelia I had been starving for all week.

As I held her tight, a floral scent drifted from her blonde hair, tickling my nose. Despite the fact that we were both wearing rigid, rugged armor and bulky adventuring gear, simply gathering her up into my arms filled me with a bizarrely intense sense of satisfaction.

We kissed again and again. But mere pecks were too frustratingly slow; eventually, we began to voraciously entwine our tongues, devouring each other's lips.

Ah. This brain-numbing, absolute sense of fulfillment. Just pressing our lips together generated a concentrated, heavy euphoria—as if the world's absolute bliss had been boiled down into a single essence—and it completely took dominion over my entire body.

If just a kiss could satisfy us this deeply... why on earth did we need to be so terrified of a silly, numerical rating like 0.00%?

Having filled our lungs after a long, breathless kiss, our hands naturally began to grope and map each other's bodies. Our long, excruciating dry spell—our winter era—was finally at its end. Here, in the heart of a land teeming with monsters, we were about to surrender our minds and bodies entirely to the primal instincts of our lust.
