Using a Mysterious Spellbook Ended Up Creating a Slave Harem - Chapter 31
Afterward and the Sports Festival
Afterward, it ended with two rounds with Erika and one round with Iroha. Even while being enhanced by magic, releasing seven times leaves me completely exhausted.
After that, the three of us lay down side-by-side and enjoyed some pillow talk. Erika mentioned that procuring new talent, which she is doing jointly with Rina, is still quite a ways off.
For now, they have some candidates in mind and are currently building a relationship of trust with them. Since her work is also busy, she told me to assume it won't be possible within this year.
With a flower in each hand, time slipped away as we talked about these things. We washed off our sweat in the bathroom, got ready to go home, and after exchanging a final deep kiss with both of them, I headed on my way back.

On the Monday of the week following the 3P session with Iroha and Erika, the classroom was buzzing when I arrived at school. The cause was Rina, who was coming to school for the first time since the second semester began.
This was also my first time seeing her since the end of summer vacation, when I fell her into becoming a slave marked with a lewd crest. Sitting in her own seat and chatting with a few girls, she cast a brief glance my way, and I looked back at her in the same manner.
That said, it would be extremely unnatural for us to interact here. She understood the situation well and didn't try to strike up a conversation with me.
While feeling relieved yet slightly disappointed, Mr. Wada arrived and homeroom began. As I listened to our homeroom teacher, my smartphone vibrated. Sneaking a look, I saw a notification that a DM had arrived on a certain SNS.
Once homeroom ended and before the first period started, I checked the message. The one who sent it was Rina, who was sitting in the very same classroom.
< It seems you had a grand time on Saturday with Erika-san and your former tutor. >
I almost reflexively looked over toward her seat, but managed to stop myself at the last second. Wondering why she was sending this now instead of yesterday, I sent a DM back to Rina instead.
I want to have fun with you too, Rina. When is your next off-day on a weekend likely to be? <
< As of right now, there is a possibility I might get one next month. >
A possibility, huh. Got it. I'll look forward to it. <
< Yes. Rina is also eagerly waiting to be loved by Master. >
No one else in this room would ever imagine that Rina and I were exchanging DMs like this in the middle of class. Thinking about that filled me with a sense of superiority over my classmates.
Suppressing a smirk while looking at my phone, the teacher for the first period arrived, so I tucked my phone away inside my desk.

Perhaps because Rina was there, the classroom felt somewhat restless, and she and I locked eyes multiple times. Of course, I made sure to do it carefully so as not to arouse suspicion from others.
Because I was enjoying that so much, it felt like the school day ended quickly. It was rare for Rina to stay through the final period, which made the day feel special.
Naturally, I didn't forget to properly cast my affection-boosting and love-boosting magic on Otowa Kojina. Putting the cultural festival aside, I want to make her my girlfriend by Christmas.
+++
On the first Saturday of October, it was finally the day of the sports festival. Apparently, it used to be held in September until recently, but due to the lingering summer heat caused by global warming, it was shifted to October.
It's still quite hot, so it would be better if it were a little cooler, but considering potential postponements due to weather and next month's cultural festival, scheduling-wise it was impossible.
Now, because it's a sports festival, the guys who are better at athletics than studying are raring to go. I've trained my basic physical abilities using magic, and if I use temporary buff magic on top of that, it'll be a breeze.
However, since I already stand out too much academically, I plan to spend the sports festival taking it easy. My plan is to blend in as an ordinary student—not at the top, but not at the very bottom either.

"——So? How about that performance of mine?"
"Yeah, yeah. Good for you."
Chigasaki, who is athletic, and Shigemitsu, who isn't, were conversing with completely opposite levels of energy. Since our school is a prestigious prep school, many students are bad at sports, making the sports festival one of the few stages where Chigasaki can truly shine.
"It's almost time for Kojina-san's turn!"
"Can't miss that!"
"Kojina-san must look beautiful when she runs."
The area in front of our class's section was packed with classmates, so I watched from slightly behind. When her turn came, the cheering from the grounds grew even louder.
"Whoaa!!"
"Do your best, Kojina-san!"
"O-to-wa-chaaan!!"
As expected of one of the school's two great idols alongside Rina Takechi. There was cheering from the girls too, but the deep, roaring cheers of the boys echoed across the field.
"Whoa! Otowa-chan!"
"Good luck, Kojina-san!"
"Don't get hurt~"
As Shigemitsu and Chigasaki shouted loudly beside me, Kojina-san started and ran past our class. Being an ultra-beautiful girl looks tough.
"Ahhh! If only Rina-chan were here, it would be perfect!"
"It's for work, so it can't be helped."
"Give up. Same goes for the cultural festival."
As you can tell from our conversation, unfortunately, Rina was not participating in today's sports festival. Well, if she could take a day off, she'd definitely choose a different Saturday.
Right now, she prioritizes her trysts with me, her master, over school events. That's the kind of relationship we have.

The morning events ended, and it was time for the lunch break.
Because this school is an ultra-prestigious private academy, students' families normally come to cheer them on. Especially for the first-years, since it's their first time, the attendance rate is so high that it's rare for a student to have no family members show up.
In the end, only my mother was able to come from my family. My father had planned to come, but an urgent matter came up at work, making it impossible.
I looked for my mother in our class's parent section, and just as we were about to eat, a voice called out from the side.
"Ah, Saida-kun."
Turning toward the voice, for some reason, Ichikawa-senpai was there. I wondered why a second-year senior was here, but then I spotted Kojina-san behind her and remembered.
Come to think of it, the two of them are relatives. Along with her were two good-looking people who seemed to be Kojina-san's parents, and a handsome middle-school-aged boy—making a total of three others.
"Saida-kun. Mind if we sit here?"
"Sure. I wouldn't dare do something as terrifying as turning down the club president."
"You make it sound like I'm some kind of monster."
She checked with the people who seemed to be Kojina-san's family and sat down next to us. The mat they had laid out wasn't quite big enough, so it looked cramped for five people.
"President. Why don't you come over to our side?"
"…Is it alright? Mind if I intrude?"
"Go right ahead."
Since it was just my mother and me, we invited her to our spacious side. It seemed she felt awkward sitting in the middle of a family gathering despite being a relative, so she readily came over.
Senior sat next to me, and next to her was Kojina-san, followed by the boy who seemed to be her younger brother. Here, the woman who looked like Kojina-san's mother spoke to Senior.
"Mitsuho-chan. Earlier, you called him Saida-kun, right?"
"Yes. He's the boy who ranked higher than Otowa-chan on the exams, and he's Phantom Member No. 2 of our club."
"Oh? So you're the boy who beat my daughter."
"It's amazing that a school is so prestigious that even in the general track, Sis can't take first place," the brother added.
The gazes of Kojina's parents and her brother all concentrated on me. This was a moment to be humble.
"No, considering the point difference, it was just a fluke."
"Yeah, a single wrong question changes the ranking," Kojina-san chimed in.
"That's right. By the way, you're participating in the cultural festival, so please stop being a phantom member," Senior said.
Taking advantage of Senior's words, I changed the subject here. Kojina-san clearly didn't want to talk about the cultural festival, as she gave me a glaring side-eye.
"Oto-chan. We're coming to watch the cultural festival too."
"…Okay."
"I'm looking forward to it. First-years in the general track do a play as a class, right, Sis?"
"Yes. Apparently, it's a tradition at this school."
Yes, it is traditional for first-year general track classes to perform a play in the gym during the cultural festival. Second-years can use their classrooms to run food stalls or cafes.
Third-years generally don't participate as a class, though about one class does something every year. Aside from that, sports clubs often set up food stalls.
I had heard information that the boys in our class were plotting a play where Kojina-san would be the heroine. I highly doubted she, being somewhat of a lone wolf, would ever accept, though.
"Mitsuho-nee-san, what did you do last year?"
"Last year? I worked backstage for our class. Standing on stage is impossible for me."
That sounded just like Senior. She probably kept herself locked away in the Fortune Telling Club room.
"Otowa will probably be chosen as the heroine."
"Dad, I want to pass on that. Help me out, Saida-kun?"
"Me?! No, I don't think I can do anything about it."
"P-l-e-a-s-e?"
"I-I'll try my best, but at most, I can only try to make it so you're not the heroine, okay?"
"At worst, even that is fine. Please."
"A-Alright."
The difficult request from Kojina-san started weighing heavily on me. Watching the two of us interact with a curious look, Kojina-san's mother spoke up.
"How unusual. For Oto-chan to talk this much with a boy her own age."
"There's nothing strange about it, is there? We're in the same class and the same club."
"It wasn't like this in middle school. I heard stories from the mother of a boy who lived nearby."
"…………"
In that manner, the lunch break passed as I interacted with Kojina-san's family and the president. Afterward, nothing notable happened, and the sports festival concluded without a hitch.
+++
A few days after the sports festival ended, a message arrived from Rina saying she could take a day off.
The date was Sunday, October 16th, and she invited me to the apartment building where she lives.
Getting to go to the private room of an ultra-popular idol is an honor that would make any fan faint. In preparation for a sweet tryst with Rina, I need to make various preparations.
