I Formed a Party with a Girl via an Adventurer Matching App - Chapter 15

 The Death Golem Dungeon

"I see. This thing is seriously amazing. I guess expensive gear really does have the quality to back up the price tag."

Having completely renewed my gear, I was currently diving into a dungeon alongside Cordelia.

The place we had come to was a high-difficulty crawling spot known as the 'Death Golem Dungeon.'

True to its name, it was a dungeon heavily populated by Golems. At the deepest floor lived a dark mage who ruled over them, making it a unique ecosystem formed entirely by the Golems he continuously manufactured day after day.

Facing massive mud dolls that reached all the way to the ceiling and charged forward without a shred of fear was a tall order for a small party. On the flip side, the pathways weren't particularly wide either, making coordination difficult for larger groups. Because formatting the ideal party for this place was such a headache, most adventurers didn't bother with it, leaving it as a hidden gem of a hunting ground. Since it was rarely actively challenged and the Golems themselves were incredibly formidable, only about 20 of its estimated 50 floors had been conquered so far.

Cordelia and I were currently tackling this exact dungeon, using the run partly to test out my new gear. And just a moment ago, we had officially reached the 30th floor. ……We had literally broken the dungeon's historical conquest record during a mere test run.

"As usual, fighting as a tag team with you is just cheating with our compatibility. Golems that do nothing but charge at you without emotion don't stand a chance."

"Hmph. With us on the job, this much is a given."

Cordelia spoke without any real hint of deep emotion.

"More importantly, Kent."

"We literally just set a historical dungeon record, and you say 'more importantly'?"

"The objective was a test run for your new gear, wasn't it? Well? What are your thoughts?"

Prompted by Cordelia's question, I gave her a deeply satisfied nod.

"Yeah. It doesn't just look cool, the performance is top-tier. This stuff is incredible."

Both the shirt and the trousers were highly breathable, meaning I felt barely any discomfort even inside the muggy, stagnant air of the dungeon. The mithril armor parts were light, offering almost zero hindrance to my movements. On top of that, its defensive value was spectacular; despite taking a few stray hits from the Golems earlier, there wasn't a single scratch on it.

Combined with the perfect, unspoken coordination I shared with Cordelia, my movements felt sharper than ever.

"It looks better, and my stats have gone way up. This really was a great purchase. It’s pricey, sure…… but when you balance it against the daily mortal dangers of adventuring, I'm starting to feel like it’s a steal."

"You really are a master of looking on the bright side, aren't you?"

Cordelia and I had just finished demolishing the Golem that served as the 30th-floor boss.

Even though we had pushed far deeper than any other adventurers had ever managed, neither of us was out of breath. Truly, with our current tag team, it felt like there was absolutely nothing we couldn't handle.

"We've reached a perfect stopping point, so why don't we take a quick break?"

The 30th floor meant we were past the halfway mark of the estimated 50 floors. Even though we had plenty of stamina to spare, carelessness was the number one killer of adventurers.

Under normal circumstances, regular monsters wouldn't spawn inside a floor boss's grand chamber. In other words, since we had just slain the boss, this room was temporarily a valuable safe zone. It was the absolute perfect spot to take a breather.

At that moment, Cordelia began fanning the hem of her jacket up and down, letting out a small murmur.

"The Death Golem Dungeon is a bit humid, isn't it? Moving around so much made me rather hot."

Golems were, fundamentally, massive dolls made of mud. To prevent those mud structures from cracking, the air in the dungeon was deliberately kept at high humidity.

"I'm going to change real quick. Don't you dare look this way."

"Got it."

Prompted by Cordelia, I turned my back to her. Shortly after, the rustle of clothes echoing through the quiet room signaled that she was changing.

Rustle, slide……

The sound of her shirt slipping off. I figured she was just going to quickly wipe away her sweat and put on a fresh shirt, but the rustling of fabric went on for quite a while. Just when I thought the sound had finally stopped, it was suddenly replaced by a strange, metallic clinking noise.

Clink, clank.

"You can turn around now."

Having received Cordelia’s permission, I spun back around to face her.

"You took quite a while. Were you really sweating that bad, or…… huh?"

The question I was forming melted instantly into thin air. That was because a sight far more mind-boggling than any trivial question was standing right in front of my eyes.

Cordelia—who had claimed she was just going to do a "quick change"—was standing there.

"……Pfft. What’s with that frozen expression? Are you really that mesmerized by my outfit?"

She had completely discarded every single piece of clothing she had been wearing, from her shirt down to her trousers. And what she had put on in their place was……

An armor piece made of countless interlocking metal rings formed into the shape of a garment. What people commonly referred to as chainmail. And Cordelia was wearing that chainmail directly over her bare skin, having stripped completely stark naked underneath.

The weave of the chainmail was wide, leaving the soft flesh beneath it practically on full display. Her voluptuous breasts, her perky pink nipples, her tightly nipped waist, her vertical belly button, and even her pussy covered in blonde pubic hair—everything was clearly visible through the gaps of the metal mesh.

Normally, chainmail was a piece of supplementary armor meant to be worn over thick padded underclothes. Yet for some reason, Cordelia had slipped it directly over her naked skin…… and was now staring at me with a deeply provocative gaze.

"W-What the…… where did you even get that?"

"I found it and bought it while you were getting your gear sorted out."

Come to think of it, when Cordelia had met back up with me at the shop, she had been holding a bag containing a mystery purchase. So that was what had been inside.

Seeing me standing there utterly dumbstruck, Cordelia’s expression soured slightly into a pout. She had clearly put on this new gear to show it off, so my stunned silence was probably registering as a dull reaction.

"Excuse me. Do you really have absolutely no commentary after seeing my brand-new equipment?"

"Ah, uh, well……"

"Hmph. Fine. It’s not like I expected much from an unrefined dullard like you to begin with."

Cordelia shook her head as if giving up, but she immediately began striding right toward me. With every step she took, the chainmail jingled and clanked, providing a crystal-clear view of her heavy breasts jiggling and bouncing beneath the metal rings.

Stopping directly in front of me, Cordelia abruptly dropped down to her knees.

"Instead of asking a slow-witted guy like you for your thoughts, I think I’ll get a much more honest and direct response if I just ask this part of you instead."

Without giving me any room to argue, Cordelia reached out and yanked my trouser zipper straight down.

Reaching inside, she dragged out my rock-hard, violently throbbing cock into the open air. Looking up at me, she let out a wicked grin and slowly licked her lips.
